Fun in March

I recieved this photo from Ella this week. It made me so sad.

My sweet little grandaughter said it was her "Sand Castle"

Ohhhh, do you think she misses the beach? Portland just

doesn't have the right sand for a good sand castle, does it?

Come on home to CA Ella, Grammy will fix that. You can

just stay here with us. Oh and Disneyland will be open then

just for you.

After Darren's BDay dinner, we got into the cars to go home and...

Lets just say Darren's car wouldnt start. Hmmm

After a new fuel filter, fuel pump and a fuel strainer, the car

finally started. Then Dave broke the tension bolt on the belt for

the alternator. What a day.

23 yrs old. We had a great dinner party at Steer & Stein, our family hangout

for a great steak dinner.

However I had no idea what Chinese Cheese Cake

was like. It was pretty though.

Mr. Guy on St. Patty's Day. He invited me to go to Chicago with him to

watch them turn the river green. When i told him I was sorry I had to work

on St. Patty's Day. He quietly pulled out his phone and looked it up and asked can you go in

2013? It will be on a Saturday then. I told him sure and thanked him for his thoughtfulness.

He is a former student and now volunteers 2 days a week and participates in the

adult transition program. What a great young man.

Today Ethan and Allan ran in a 5k to raise money for the school age kids of the fallen soldiers that serve our country.I cant get the pictures uploaded.

Ethan came in 2nd place for the childrens division. We are so proud of you "E"

First of all for running and Second of all for giving it your all. We heard that first

place went to a 10 yr old. ( Ethan is just 5) Way to go buddy. Keep up the hard work.

More Family Fun

Having a photographer in the family can be a challenge.

The posing never stops, the camera is always out.

Dave really isnt sleeping he is just demonstrating how good

he is at following directions from his daughter. "Smile DAD"

Never a dull moment with these two. Always having fun

even while waiting in line for a ride.

Cass and I waiting for a ride. Wow we are really

white. In serious need of a tan.
I always look haggard after 2 days with no sleep.

Allan ran the Lake to Lake race in St.George last weekend

His team ran from Gunlock Lake to Sand Hallow Lake. 50 miles

He had a great time and really loves running

Great Friends.

TThis one was better by far.

We went to Mora our Favorite Sushi hangout. I asked these two

for a picture. Of course this is what I got.

This was the last time Grammy and Ella were able to swing

at her house in Tustin. Sad Day, Beautiful Girl.

Begining the New Year

We have many things to be thankful for. But this year looks as though it will be very busy. Everyone is back in school. We are going to miss Ella and her family as they embark on a new journey to Portland at the end of the month. I am ok with move just as long as Jess doesnt try and recruit any of the others along. There are changes with work for many of us. New classes and many adventures ahead. Life never seems to slow down, and thats probably a good thing, I dont think you age as fast if you hang on.
